This course explains Positive Behavior Intervention Strategies for students with autism spectrum disorders as an easy-to-understand three-step process. Educators learn strategies to prevent challenging behaviors of students with autism, de-escalate meltdown situations, and teach students new skills — ultimately reducing the need for seclusion and restraint.
