The course also explores the process of designing compliant IEPs for students along the autism spectrum, emphasizing proper procedures and potential pitfalls related to meetings, content and placement decisions. Other relevant areas of the law are also addressed, including transportation, extended school year services, and the use of restraints and seclusion.
